The EKOL group is currently diversifying its individual activities as part of the group`s business aims. The parent company, EKOL, spol. s r.o. focuses not only on the design, production and supply of single-part turbo-generators, but also on projects with the construction of greenfield turnkey power units. EKOL energo s.r.o. has added to the company`s current activities and production by offering complete maintenance and providing general overhauls and retrofits. This means the complete renovation of existing turbo-sets, bringing customers inovation at lower costs than by installing new equipment.
Implementing manufacturing orders and servicing activities
Turbine for the District Heating Plant in České Budějovice. The production of turbines for Bučina Zvolen, Žarnovica, Mydlovary, Dwory and Badín was finished.
General repairs are being implemented for our important customers Žilinská teplárenksá a.s. and Energetika Třinec a.s.
Gold medal at the International Engineering Trade Fair
One of the company`s most important successes was to be awarded the prestigious Gold Medal for the rotor of the R8-4,5/0,3E unified steam turbine. The turbine is one of the unified series of steam turbines for powering generators. The turbine was delivered to the customer The Nile Sugar Company, Egypt and helps to produce steam in an economical way for the technology of sugar production and to cover the sugar raffinery`s own electricity consumption.
