This is operating measurement of vibrations in the nodal points of the turboset and its evaluation with regard to operating safety, reliability and long-time operating life of equipment. The results of measurement that are processed by means of a computer comprise the essential piece of information for consequent revision and then for elaboration of the plan of long-time operating maintenance of the machine set. This measurement, executed before the beginning and after finalization of such revision, represents an important criterion for evaluation of quality of the checking activities. In the course of measurement there are evaluated amplitudes, velocities and frequencies of vibrations.
