Before the repair, the steam turbine was in a situation after breakdown, incapable of next operation. During the period from 10/2016 to 4/2017 it was performed the general repair in the production plant of Ekol Energo.

The turbine casing was corroded. It was made shot blasting of both halves of the casing and evening of the split plane. The stator blades were in emergency conditions, therefore it was realized re-blading of the stator flow section. It was also replaced the complete connection material of the split plane and all flanges.

Whole rotor flow section was covered with a thick layer of corrosion and impurities. The bearing journals were scarified due to impurities in oil. The rotor blading was corroded by pitting, the outlet edges were damaged and flashed. These blades were completely removed and the rotor was machined on new grooves for blades and was provided with new blades. Also the strips of steam glands were replaced. It was also made shot blasting of the flow section and the rotor journals were aligned.
