At older items of equipment it is necessary to take account of the fact that their technical standard gradually ceases to correspond to the present requirements of operation economy. The economic requirements are expressed by means of relation of inserted and exploitable energies – equipment efficiency. For such machine sets our firm shall prepare a study of possible measures that will improve the above-stated parameter. Into this field it belong especially adaptations of stator and rotor blading that can lead to an increase of turbine thermodynamic efficiency by 2 – 4 per cent.
