The revisions create a regular part of equipment operating cycle, but they can be called also by the need that will result from suddenly arisen problems.

The revision is designated for detection of technical conditions of equipment and for a decision on the measures leading to assurance of its subsequent safe operation. The summary and extent of such measures is the subject of the initial report of the revision. This revision represents the background papers for negations with the client, in the course of which it is agreed the scope of activities provided by our firm, participation of the client, time schedule of implementation, extent of guarantees and prices. Concerning the steam turbines, the firm EKOL had elaborated for such negotiations a standard extent of the works for small, medium and general repairs. This extent is always being adapted according to the actual findings of particular equipment.

Because it arises the need of new production of some parts in the course of the revisions, and because such production is a subject of time requirements, it is effective to discuss the revisions of individual devices with a sufficient time advance (we recommend one-year advance). It then will enable to prepare production of these parts in such manner that implementation of the revision could pass within the terms required by the client.
